Mixtape Trophy FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about trophies, achievements, and completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to get the platinum trophy in Mixtape?

Mixtape takes approximately 3–4 hours to platinum on PlayStation 5. Some guides estimate 5–6 hours for a more relaxed pace, but an optimized playthrough following our chapter walkthrough can easily be done in under 4 hours. The game has 27 trophies total (1 Platinum, 6 Gold, 12 Silver, 8 Bronze).

Are there any missable trophies in Mixtape?

No. There are zero missable trophies in Mixtape. Chapter Select unlocks for each chapter immediately after you complete it, allowing you to jump back and clean up anything you missed. Even the large collectible trophy Front To Back can be completed across multiple chapter select sessions.

Does Mixtape have any glitched trophies?

No. As of the current patch (May 2026), there are no known glitched trophies in Mixtape on any platform. All trophies unlock reliably when their conditions are met.

Does difficulty affect trophies in Mixtape?

No. Mixtape does not have difficulty settings at all. The entire game is played on one universal difficulty, meaning all trophies are earned under the same conditions for every player.

How many playthroughs are needed for the platinum?

Only one full playthrough is needed for the platinum if you follow a guide and pay attention to trophies as you go. If you do a blind playthrough first, you can use Chapter Select to clean up missed trophies quickly without replaying the entire game.

What is the hardest trophy in Mixtape?

Most players agree that Cone Island, Baby. (knock over 10 cones in one skating run) is the hardest trophy due to the overhead camera angle on cones 8–9. Other challenging trophies include And It's Outta There! (perfect softball as Cassandra) and From The Hip (slingshot under 30 seconds). Even so, the overall difficulty is only rated 3/10.

Is there a PS4 version of Mixtape with autopop?

No. There is no PS4 version of Mixtape. The game released natively on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. This means PS4 to PS5 autopop, save transfer, and cross-buy are not available.

Are the Xbox achievements the same as PS5 trophies?

Yes, with one exception. Xbox and PC have 26 achievements, while PS5 has 27 trophies. The only difference is the PlayStation-exclusive Platinum trophy, The Sound Of The Future. All other unlock conditions are identical across platforms.

Can I use manual saves to backup before difficult trophies?

No. Mixtape does not support manual saves. All progress is automatically saved as you make it. However, because Chapter Select unlocks immediately for each completed chapter, you can simply restart a specific chapter if you fail a timed challenge or miss a miscellaneous trophy.

Does the game have online or multiplayer trophies?

No. Mixtape has zero online trophies. The entire trophy list can be completed offline in single-player, making it an ideal game for trophy hunters who prefer solo experiences.

What happens to my collectible progress if I use Chapter Select?

When you use Chapter Select, the visual indicators (white dots over items) reset, and Cassandra/Slater's dialogue restarts. However, the game still tracks which items you've previously interacted with for trophy purposes. This can make it confusing to see what you still need, which is why we recommend getting Front To Back in one clean playthrough.

Is Mixtape on Xbox Game Pass?

Yes. Mixtape is available on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, in addition to being available for purchase on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Who developed Mixtape?

Mixtape was developed by Beethoven & Dinosaur, the same studio behind The Artful Escape. It is a narrative adventure game with heavy emphasis on 90s period music and follows three high school seniors on their final day together.
