This guide covers every chapter of Mixtape in chronological order. Trophies are noted where they unlock, and collectible interactions are listed for Front To Back. If you're following this from start to finish, you will earn the platinum in a single playthrough.
Chapter Select Tip: Each chapter unlocks in Chapter Select immediately after you complete it. If you miss anything, you can jump back without replaying the entire game.
Chapters 1–10. Estimated time: ~1 hour. Introduces skating, bedroom exploration, and early mini-games.
Chapters 11–18. Estimated time: ~1.5 hours. Features Cassandra's softball, skipping stones, and rooftop challenges.
Chapters 19–30. Estimated time: ~1.5 hours. Covers Slater's house, Starlight Video, the auto-run sequence, and finale.
Introductory skating sequence. Ollie over a car to unlock Thrashed. The white or red short cars are easiest.
First major bedroom exploration. Interact with everything: stereo, photo, family portrait, painting, bathroom cloth, CDs on bookshelf, turntable, skateboard, keyboard, VHS tapes, tape cassette, closet photos, noticeboard. Talk to Cassandra and Slater repeatedly until dialogue is exhausted. These interactions count toward Front To Back.
Kissing minigame. Stay in the minigame for 60 seconds to unlock French Connection. The trophy only unlocks after you back out.
Story sequence. No trophies, but enjoy the atmosphere.
Shopping cart escape sequence. Avoid crashing into any cars by steering with the left stick and staying centered. If you crash, restart the chapter. Smooth Shopper unlocks at the bottom of the hill.
Story transition. No trophies.
Second bedroom exploration. Interact with: box, trophy, wardrobe, dresser photo, drawer with ticket halves, small shell, wardrobe with key. Exhaust dialogue with Cassandra and Slater. Counts toward Front To Back.
Make Slater's secret slushie recipe by mixing Blue Crush, Bubblegum, Lime, and Orange (quarter of each) to unlock Grunge Metal Alchemist.
Story sequence. No trophies.
End of Act I. Goodbye, Stacey's Room unlocks automatically when you leave the room.
Skating sequence. Knock over all 10 traffic cones for Cone Island, Baby. Cones 1–3 are by the dump truck; cone 4 at the intersection; cones 5–6 under the semi; cone 7 in construction; cones 8–9 during overhead camera; cone 10 after camera switches back.
Throw a stone through the tire swing on the right for Skim Gordon. Aim the dot at the top middle of the tire hole. Unlimited retries.
Bedroom exploration. Interact with portrait, bookshelf, pinboard, cassette tape, bed photos, cupboard trophy, bathroom bill, trophy cabinet, contract, window. Exhaust all dialogue. Counts toward Front To Back.
Hit every pitch as Cassandra for home runs to unlock And It's Outta There! Push the stick fully in the target direction and swing when the circles align. One miss means restart.
Throw 50 toilet paper rolls at the house for Triple Ply. Can be done standing in one place.
Float backwards and hit 3 pig balloons for It's The Pigs, Darling. Trophy unlocks when you enter Rockford's house at section end. Also exhaust Slater's dialogue for Front To Back.
Slater gives you the Minimaster. Complete the battery swap in under 15 seconds for Instructions Not Required. Also exhaust dialogue and interact with everything for Front To Back.
Take 20 photos before the section ends for Don't. Move. Also exhaust Cassandra's dialogue and interact with everything for Front To Back. Matching The Drapes unlocks after leaving Cassandra's room.
Skating section. Mash triggers to explode all highlighted objects for Appetite For Destruction. Unlock at the gumball machine in the mall.
Story transition. No trophies.
Paint the entire door in under 30 seconds for Paint it, Black, If You Want. Use vertical strips from top to bottom with the large roller.
Move the couch into place within 30 seconds for Sofa King Fast. Move both sticks right in a straight path and drop when the zone is green.
Clear all leaves in under 45 seconds for Leaves That Are Green. Charge sweeps from the middle, then clean edges. Also exhaust Slater's dialogue and interact with everything for Front To Back.
Hit all cans AND bottles in under 30 seconds for From The Hip. Work left to right (or vice versa) and aim just above Rockford's fingers.
Final bedroom exploration. Interact with artwork, camera, fish tank, record, lava lamp, robot, polaroids, guitar, book, dresser photo, tape deck, VHS on bed. Interact with the tape player to move Slater, then exhaust his dialogue. Critical for Front To Back.
As Slater in the video store: knock over 5 character cutouts for Doppelbanger and knock 200 VHS tapes off shelves for Tapehead Graveyard. Eight Minute Odyssey unlocks after leaving Slater's room.
Auto-running rescue sequence. Don't miss a single jump or slide for Well, Take A Look At You. Jump over obstacles; slide under gaps.
Skating with fireworks. Mash triggers to set off every firework for Banned In Massachusetts.
As Slater through a camcorder, acquire all items from partygoers for Fight For Your Right. Drinks from sunglasses guy, girl on left, girl in black, bathtub, deck girl, and final girl near video marker. Food from BBQ man and grill.
Complete the game. Last Song and the Platinum The Sound Of The Future unlock after credits.
